We share with you the steps you must follow to guarantee safety and hygiene in your beauty salon or spa.

Hand hygiene and safety distance

These are two general measures that we should support. The distance between people must be 1.5 meters; if this is not possible, screens must be installed. Regarding hand hygiene, we should always wash our hands with soap and water, but if we do not have access to these elements we can use hydroalcoholic gel.

Use disposable masks and gloves.

The use of a mask is mandatory for both professionals and clients. In professional cases it is best to use an FFP2 mask. If at any time a client needs to remove their mask, they must do so while on the table, and facility staff are encouraged to wear face shields or eye protection during the procedure. Professionals should use rubber or nitrile gloves and change them each time they serve a new client.

Use of Uniforms

To avoid cross infections, upon arrival at the facility you must change into work clothes (then wash at 60 degrees Celsius). If uniforms are not available, staff should wear disposable shoe covers and long-sleeved aprons.

Clean, disinfect and ventilate

Salon facilities should be cleaned and disinfected at least twice a day. and ventilate the room (if possible, of course) for 5 to 10 minutes between clients.

Cosmetic processing

You should avoid touching cosmetics with your hands and using spoons or other objects. It is important that clients feel safe in the salon, so we encourage you to not only practice these rules but also communicate them clearly.
